The Department of Music is located in the Stone Building of Old Fortress. This building houses the departmental library, teaching rooms, instrumental and ensemble studios and the administration offices.

Some of the classes, the rehersals and the events organised by the department take place at the Ionian Academy (Main Hall). It should be noted that the Ionian Academy building constitutes a historical landmark since it housed the first institution of higher education in Greece.
