We are pleased to invite you to be part of our BIP project AIN+ on Augmented Music Instruments, which involves all musicians who are curious about blending traditional music instruments with electronic devices and the digital world.
Professor Daniele Ledda will share the details of his experimental research on CLAVIUS, a family of augmented musical instruments built inspired by John Cage's prepared piano project. Teachers from the Conservatory's Electronic Music course and students specialised in the implementation of electronic devices will assist the team in the construction of new augmented instruments and luthier M°Gabriele Orlando, from the Antonio Stradivari International Institute of violin making in Cremona, will conduct a DIGITAL LUTHERIE WORKSHOP for the group during the BIP days.
