Department of Music Studies: Honorary Doctorate Award Ceremony of Mr. Gunther Schuller

The Vice Rector of the Ionian University professor Charalambos Xanthoudakis invites you to attend the Honorary Doctorate Award Ceremony of Department of Music Studies of the composer, conductor and musicologist, Mr. Gunther Schuller.

The ceremony will be held in the Corfu Reading Society, Thursday 21st of October 2010, at 20.30.

A concert of Re-Compositions and Improvisations in honor of Gunther Schuller will follow, with title "From Folk to Monk".
