The Ionian University Department of Music Studies organizes an Opera Workshop within the framework of the Summer Academy, to be held in Corfu from 21 to 25 July 2014.
The seminar is intended for young lyrical artists as well as students of Greek or foreign Music Schools (2nd Superior Class and above) and Music Universities (2nd year of specialisation and above). It will enable students to study arias and vocal ensembles from well-known lyrical repertoire works.
All participants shall have the opportunity to participate in a closing concert with arias and scenes from the most renowned operas.
Classes shall be taught by:
Rosa Poulimenou: Soprano
Petros Gallias: Opera Director/ Choreographer
Marilena Eloul: Pianist
Workshop Leader: Rosa Poulimenou
Participation fees:
Active participants: 220€
Audience: 100€

The Ionian University provides the opportunity for the Students to stay at the Hall of Residence for 10€ per day.
