Ancient Greek Music ...

The soprano Roza Poulimenou and the Austrian researcher Dr. Stefan Hagel will present music of Greek ancient culture. Dr. Hagel will play ancient instruments, reconstructed by himself.

The concert will accompany the presentation of a new book by Dr. Egert Poehlmann titled "Ancient Greek Poetry in Ancient Greek Music: Contribution to the History of Graecoroman Culture" (Ionian University Publications: Corfu, 2007).

The writer Dr. Egert Poehlmann, Panos Vlagopoulos, scientific redactor, and Charis Xanthoudakis, director of the Greek Music Workshop will speak at the presentation.
