Ionian Piano Quartet

The Ionian Piano Quartet is one of the most active Greek chamber music groups and has already performed in Germany and the USA , earning the most enthusiastic reviews from the international Press.

The musicians are all faculty members of the Department of Musical Studies, Spyros Gikontis (violin), Andreas Georgotas (viola), Giannis Toulis (cello), and Lambis Vassiliades (piano). They are performing at concerts and teaching in Greece and abroad. Their recordings have attracted praise from such publications as the BBC Magazine, Gramophone, the Journal of the American Viola Society and the Strad Magazine.
