The concert opens on 7 July with Eleni Mouzala performing the Saint-Saens Second Piano Concerto . Eleni Mouzala, of Greek-Cypriot descent, pianist and music teacher, is an assistant lecturer at the Dept. of Music Studies and recently received a Successful Woman Award at a ceremony carried out by the France-Europe-Mediterranean Organisation in Paris’ The conductor is Russian-American Eduard Zilberkant who, in the second half of the concert, will also conduct the Brahms First Symphony
